Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Zembu Mamanosei. YUTO THE EAST (4) last appeared eight weeks ago over 1000m at Kokura Dirt when he finished 13th. This is his first run for the Yoshito Yamada stable. Expecting a seamless transition. ZEMBU MAMANOSEI (3) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 1400m at this track when she was prominent throughout. Looks well placed so expect another big run. NISHINO KIYOHA (2) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 4.5 lengths over 1300m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. DRIFT WOOD (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1300m at this track, finishing in eighth. Nicely placed to find some form.
