Genuine tempo with Magic Moment to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. MAGIC MOMENT (3) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 3 lengths at this track. Has four wins here. Has a high cruising speed. Expected to be in the finish. KIGAN (11) didn't do a bad job when third last start after being prominent at the turn over 1500m at Kanazawa, beaten 2.75 lengths. That followed a win at Kanazawa the start prior. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is up to the challenge. HAKUSAN TOP (9) stuck on well last start to finish second over 1600m at this track after showing good early speed. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. SUN MAROON (5) showed little early speed when resuming last start then lengthened in good style in the straight to finish third at this track over today's journey. Has a formidable record at this journey with three wins and three placings from seven starts and cannot be overlooked.
