Good pace with Ilovenews, More Voltage and Lease matching motors. BENAMERA (9) deep into the prep and can race closer to the speed today from the inside gate. Went back from the outside gate and was a total forgive when a poor eighth over 1400m at Goulburn. Regular rider booked and can bounce back quickly with the weight drop. ILOVENEWS (6) underrated gelding who bounced off his good first up second, with a slick on pace win over 1400m at Scone. Races best with his runs spaced and can get the job done again. SHOW COUNTY (2) sat on the speed in the atrocious conditions when a fading sixth over 1400m at Rosehill in Midway class. Genuine top three player on his win two back. LEASE (5) tough gelding holding his form well. Last two runs had merit and can sneak into the minor prize money. SQUEEZEBOX (3) resumes on his home track and can sprint well fresh.
