Strong tempo assured with Youthful Spirits, Parents' Love and Star Performer rolling to the front. CELESTIAL COLOURS (3) looks ready to strike third-up from a spell despite a 2.8L defeat here last time out. He was a $14 chance there, but the figures stack up and he should be better for that run. He draws well again for Bowman and a return to his best will see him hard to hold out. YOUTHFUL SPIRITS (2) is a speed demon who will appreciate being drawn inside. He's led strongly turning for home, but has been caught late in races recently, beaten 2L last time out. Will be in front for a very long way once again. PARENTS' LOVE (12) is another who possesses good speed and should be able to roll across from barrier 9. He'll be up on the pace and if he can bring his best form, he'll give a bold sight down in the weights off a narrow victory last time out. SPORTS LEGEND (4) disappointed last start but is better than what he showed there. Back onto the turf now and he can make his presence felt.
