Strong pace expected with Kingly Demeanor and Verbier pushing up from their low draws. VERBIER (7) led them up over 1650m last start and kicked away in good style to win by 1.3L at this track. He now rises up to 1800m for the first time, but it doesn't look an issue off his last start performance. Drawn ideally and can go to another level now. SUPER HONG KONG (8) drops back to 1800m after a 1.3L defeat over 2000m at Sha Tin last time out when charging home from the rear. Zac Purton remains in the saddle from that effort where he jumped favourite and while he has drawn wide again, he is a course and distance winner. He's the main danger. JOYFUL CHAMPION (11) just missed in a photo finish last start over the Sha Tin 2000m, beating home Super Hong Kong on that occasion. He remains down in the weights and he can make his presence felt once again. MR ALADDIN (9) is better than he showed last start behind Verbier and will appreciate the rise in distance. Can atone.
