Genuine tempo from Il Bello Beals leading Extra Zero. EXTRA ZERO (3) is poised to strike third-up into the campaign, finishing 0.2L off the winner most recently over the 1618m at this track. He was the odds-on favourite there and now he drops back in trip. That could suit as he maps for a lovely run and he can go one better this time around. IL BELLO BEALS (1) is knocking on the door of his maiden victory, finishing 0.7L away most recently when sitting on the space. He'll adopt similar tactics from a good barrier this time around and he'll take plenty of catching. SCURGEOFTHEWEST (2) ran on well from back in the field on debut over 1200m, finishing 5L off the winner as a 30-1 chance. He can improve with the run under his belt and the rise in trip looks ideal. Drawn better this time and it wouldn't surprise to see him go close. KING OF THE WOODS (4) can be in the finish on recent form. DIVERSE (6) will be fitter now and the rise in trip should suit. SUGGESTED PLAY: Extra Zero can score his maiden victory.
