Moderate tempo with Glint Star leading the way. ABRUMADOR (1) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1400m at Urawa. Has the talent to take this out. GRAN GUERRERO (6) did a great job of scoring by 3 lengths over today's course and distance when first-up from a break last start. He strips fitter and another win is not out of the question. A SHIN MACHINE (2) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with success as favourite over 1400m at this track three weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but she can win again. AZUCENA (7) was well beaten in stronger company two starts back then dropped down in class last time out and scored comfortably by half-a-length over 1400m at this track. Well placed again and another honest effort is likely.
