Expecting a strong gallop with Takeno Royal and Royal Melody taking up the running over Yamano Gift. TAKENO ROYAL (10) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing half a length from the winner in second over 1000m at this track. Likely improver who should go well. RYU ONE MERRY (1) raced on the speed last time but couldn't finish the race off and clocked-in fourth over 1000m at this track. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. ROYAL MELODY (11) showed good speed and led for much of the way before being claimed in the straight and fading to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1000m here last time. Will push forward and is among the chances. YAMANO GIFT (9) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1000m at this track, beaten 3 lengths. This looks a good race for her and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways.
