Expecting a solid pace primarily from Riccardo. FIELD MARSHAL (4) is an honest type who impressed last time, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 1800m at this track. Should be prominent from the outset. Will play a major role. RICCARDO (1) was a narrow winner last time over 1750m at Scottsville with today's rider R A Venniker aboard. Nice weight drop so he is right in contention. JAHAM (6) recorded a strong maiden win over 1800m at Turffontein Inside last time, getting there by 2.75 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and he is right in the mix again. WOODLAND GLADE (7) strung wins together then has filled minor placings at her last couple, most recently when beaten a nose into second over 2400m at Scottsville. Likely to be about the money again.
