MAN YIU HANDICAP 1650m

Track: GOOD      

Plenty of pace evident with Northern Beast leading the way from United Endeavors and Super Unicorn. SUPER UNICORN (7) resumed in good order over this course and distance a fortnight ago, just missing by 0.5L. The form out of that has already stacked up and he maps to get every chance for Purton again. Still has plenty of upside and looks set to shed the maiden tag. BEER PALACE (9) was a touch disappointing on Yielding ground first-up at Sha Tin and comes to this course and distance for just the third time. The blinkers go on again and while he will get back in the run, he's expected to be winding up strongly to the line. NORTHERN BEAST (1) was only fair first-up at Sha Tin, but he boasts a strong record over this track and trip. He'll be fitter for that run and Bowman hops in the saddle now. The wide draw is a niggle, but with sharp improvement expected, he'll be right in the finish. UNITED ENDEAVORS (12) is better than he showed at the end of last campaign where he pulled up lame. Won't be far away.
