Good early tempo with several going forward, primarily French Flame, Heaven's Will and Palermo. FRENCH FLAME (1) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1600m at Greyville, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Craig Zackey gets the best out of this three-year-old gelding. Nicely placed to take this out. SAVANTRIX (8) opened this prep last start with a third, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 1100m at this track. Big run is on the cards. KING'S ISLAND (5) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1600m at this track, an improvement on his 13th at Scottsville the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. HEAVEN'S WILL (2) finished eighth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at Greyville, beaten just 0.7 lengths. Best efforts measure up so capable of another big run.
