Solid early tempo from Matilda driving across from an outside gate, with Derma Ammit and Lasting Boy booting up underneath. LASTING BOY (2) went fast early over 1400m at this track when resuming last time and dug deep to score by 2.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. DERMA AMMIT (5) was well fancied when resuming last start over 1200m at Funabashi when second. Great chance to atone. FESTIVE KAREN (13) is yet to break through after nine starts. Placed two back then last time out was fourth over 1200m at Funabashi. Drawn out but has a strong finish. Best form stacks up and she is among the chances. ULTRA YOKO (4) turned in a fine effort to score by 0.8 lengths at this course and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Worth noting Norifumi Mikamoto goes aboard. Finds another suitable race and can do it again.
