Cracking tempo from the outset with a number of speedy beginners engaged, most notably Kyoei Messiah and I Monster. KANESHO IKEMEN (8) was in the money last time when second at this track and is close to a win. Looks hard to beat on best. DAN STONE LAZO (3) came home strongly last time and found the frame when third over 800m at this track. Has a win and seven places at this journey from 14 starts and expected to feature. I MONSTER (7) raced handy and fought on well into second over 800m at this track. Proven rider Tsubasa Sasagawa stays atop. Looks one of the likely contenders. KYOEI MESSIAH (2) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and on speed faded right out of it, finishing 12th over 900m at Kawasaki. Winning rider Seiji Yamazaki back aboard this time. Merits respect on best figures.
