Duke Of Camden has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. IL PASSERO (3) progressive gelding kept fresh for this after scoring an emphatic victory over 1250m at Newcastle on February 14. Carries the big weights well and shapes as a genuine top-three prospect. C'MON MATE (4) had no choice but to go back from the outside barrier with a plugging seventh over 1300m at Kembla Grange. Will appreciate the 3kg claim from the good gate and represents good each-way value over his pet trip. LONE ARTIST (6) showed a ton of grit off the let-up with a fighting on-pace fourth over 1300m at Kembla Grange. Fitter now and gets a more economical run today. Respect. VETWELVE (1) total forgive over the unsuitable 1000m first-up with a struggling ninth over 1000m at Randwick in BM72 class. Out to his right journey and can make sharp improvement.
