Without a designated pacemaker it will probably turn into a dash home. BREUKELEN (1) looks the goods in a lowly maiden. Debuted over 1000m at Tamworth last start and was hard to miss, coming from last on the corner to get up for third. Meets a plain bunch this time and the extra 200m is what he needs. Looks the winner. MIDNIGHT RHYTHM (3) made his debut in the same race as Breukelen at Tamworth where his chances weren't helped by a slow start. Hard to see him turning the tables but with natural improvement to come a top three finish is on the cards. DIACCETO (2) is a three-year-old by The Autumn Sun on debut for the Dennett stable. His most recent trial at Scone was by far the best so he seems to be progressing nicely. Has found a nice race to kick things off. PRIDE OF NATIONS (8) made up plenty of ground to finish third when resuming over 1000m at Gunnedah. Should appreciate the extra 200m at this stage of the prep. SUGGESTED PLAY: Breukelen to win.
