Good pressure from the outset with Mani Scene, Ikuno Olympia and Tatsuno Kiseki taking up the running over Suirenchan and Ivy Genie. MANI SCENE (2) scored at this track last time out with 0.8 lengths to spare over today's journey. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and a placing. In form and should go well again. LOCOMOTION (3) bounced back last start and scored by a neck after being in the firing line on the corner over 1500m at Nagoya. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. SOUTH OF LONDON (4) could only manage sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. IKUNO OLYMPIA (9) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fifth over 1500m at Funabashi after being prominent at the bend. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better.
