Solid tempo likely as Kiata leads from Was Written and Carlingford. ROGUE STAR (1) is a promising type yet to miss the placings and back from a three months spell. Trained here and goes well fresh. Bold performance expected first-up. WAS WRITTEN (8) was handy enough when winning by one length last run at Kyneton. Hard to toss again with a nice run out of an inside alley. KIATA (7) placed third by 1.2 lengths last start at Sandown-Hillside and expected to go forward here. Will take overhauling on latest figure. DUNE FIELD (6) knuckled down strongly when finished 1.75 lengths from the winner at Sandown-Hillside. Should be winding up late again. BEING DAZZLED (2) closed off nicely when beaten a long neck last time at Yarra Valley. Worth including again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Rogue Star at home.
