Wakega Wakaranaiyo is the likely leader from a wide draw. COPANO DURBAN (6) returns from a layoff of 12 weeks. Scored over 800m at Kochi to launch the last campaign. Now under the care of new trainer Yuya Yamazaki. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. SHAWSHANK (5) broke through for his maiden win last start by a neck over 1400m at Urawa despite being unwanted in betting. Shaping up nicely and he should be in the finish again. WAKEGA WAKARANAIYO (11) started at $7.30 last time and ran below expectations at Funabashi. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. COCONUT CUTE (4) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 900m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
