Abundant early pace from the speedy trio of Supreme Dance, Whispers Of War and Jordan. JORDAN (3) showed good signs of a form return in his last start over 2000m here on the Standside course. He raced from a handy position and fought hard right to the line, finishing second. He will be peaking third up and with Gavin Lerena booked to ride, he can go one better from a good draw. SUPREME DANCE (1) battled on gamely when fourth over 1700m last time out. Three of his five career victories have come over this distance. He jumps from a good draw and must be included in all bets. WHISPERS OF WAR (2) ran a decent race at Scottsville last start. He has won twice and finished second three times from ten starts on this course. If switching off early, he should be right there at the finish. JUDGEMENT DAY (6) followed up his maiden win with a hard-fought victory here over this trip. He takes another rise in class but is in a good space and should be up to the task at hand. Stick with him.
