Pace solid from Dubai Showgirl going forward from an outside draw along with Love Shuck in closer. LOVE SHUCK (5) was below his best first up. Has gone back to the trials between runs and was a nice winner. Drawn favourably and worth noting the application of blinkers first time. Expecting him to be at his best. KING GUTHO (6) returns and goes well fresh. Was a nice trial winner in readiness and the booking of Berry is a good push for his chances. Main danger. DUBAI SHOWGIRL (14) is another that returns. Far short of a preferred trip but strips fitter for a solid Hawkesbury trial and presents plenty of value for exotic players. CHASING A QUID (13) went close to bringing up the hat-trick last start. Tougher this time but is going too good to ignore. SUGGESTED PLAY: Love Shuck to win.
