TRicky to map with unraced runners engaged. Competitive. GAME AS NED (4) settled back and finished it off well here on debut. Resumes and has warmed up with two trials. Maps for a soft run and Egan is a key jockey engagement. Will be naturally improved and merits the nod. WHITSON (14) resumed 53 days ago off Listed grade at Ballarat and didn't have the best of it from a wide barrier. Has since won a Bendigo trial comfortably suggesting he'll be much sharper today. LONELY ONE (10) is a leader who should make short work of the awkward gate. She can improve again and the 1200m shouldn't bother with the extra fitness. GLOWING RAPIDS (5) can build on the solid placing at Seymour on debut. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Game As Ned.
