CRUISE CONTROL (1) has won his last two starts over 1000m with ease and is unbeaten from four starts on this course. From his good draw of three, he should take a power of beating. CLIFF TOP (2) finished fourth last time out over 1000m at this track. Has the pace to settle in the leading division and best figures should see him finish in the money. INHERIT THE RAIN (5) stayed on well when second over 1400m last time. He has won twice, finished second three times and third twice from eleven starts over this course and distance. The 6yo gelding hardly runs a bad race and he is capable of finishing in the placings once again. FIREALLEY (3) finished seventh of 10 when resuming from a spell last start over 1000m at this track. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Strips fitter and is well worth considering.
