Expecting Derelict to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. FRANCINE (4) has been racing out of form, but she drops back in distance to 1000m again and can make her presence felt. This also looks easier than what she's been contesting of late and if she can get through the conditions, she'll be hard to hold out. PEINTRE'S PRIDE (10) hasn't won in 1052 days, but she is third up and has the figures to win a race like this. Expect an improved run from last start after not handling the heavy conditions. LOVE 'N' RUN (8) drops back in class, and the blinkers come off. She can run well. BASTYAN (11) ran well fresh before dipping second-up as he can tend to do.
