Despite the outside draw Crystal Vain can take it up in what looks to be a low-pressure contest. JIDDO (7) settled back in the field last start but rounded up his rivals with ease, scoring by 2.9L in good fashion at this track and trip. He'll need some luck from the barrier, but he was simply too good over this track and trip last start as favourite and he can go on with the job. STAY WEALTHY (2) hasn't been far away in recent efforts, tiring when setting the tempo last start over the mile here. The 4kg claim comes in handy and the slight rise in trip looks right up his alley. Can land midfield this time and put his best foot forward. WAR CLASS (6) is looking for the three-peat today following a 0.6L win over the mile here a fortnight ago. Hard to knock his recent form and he gets in light at the weights again. There's plenty to like about him. WHO'S YOUR MAMA (3) is better than he showed last start at this track and can improve. TROOPER PHOENIX (12) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Jiddo goes on top.
