From the wide draw Varistor can cross and set up a solid tempo. VARISTOR (11) turned in a fine effort to score by a length over this course and distance when first-up from a spell last start. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MILLION LIVE (2) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third at Urawa when she was always up in the leading division. Likely improver with strong prospects. KOHANA (6) missed the placings last start. Better placed this time and is worth keeping safe. ANACAPRI (5) is another that has been struggling of late but is capable of featuring in this line-up.
