MIN FAT HANDICAP 1650m Track: GOOD
Plenty of pace with Dragon Star and Double Win leading from Lucky Banner. NORTHERN BEAST (4) saves his best for this track and won as expected here just over 4 weeks ago and has been kept up to the mark with a recent trial. He only has to carry an extra 2 kilos in a similar assignment and should be the one to beat again. STURDY RUBY (8) has yet to break through since arriving in Hong Kong but that win is not far away after he was under a length from the top pick in second place last time out. All of his best efforts have come around this circuit and now that he is a couple of kilos better off in the weights, he can turn the tables. DRAGON STAR (2) was a beaten favourite here just over 3 weeks ago after racing keenly throughout the race and leaving himself with nothing for the run home. He was narrowly beaten by a head before that and can make amends. Follow your money. LUCKY BANNER (11) ran a much better race at Sha Tin on their poly track last start and is likely to push forward early on here as well. Include in all combinations.
