Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Hesitate. FINE REBEL (3) will find this easier than recent racing, not far away when sixth at Sandown Hillside last start having placed at Sandown Lakeside in a BM70 prior. Drops a long way in class for this and should take some beating. ONE SIDED LOVE (10) broke a run of third placings with a narrow maiden win at Ballarat over a short-priced favourite on wet ground. Finds another winnable race to win again. THAT'SWHATSHESAID (13) won her maiden last start at Cranbourne and won it well, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Drawn wide here but should be thereabouts. FLYING WITNESS (14) was a dominant winner in an easier race first-up at Bendigo. If she can back that up she can figure. PREFER US (11) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fine Rebel on top.
