Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by The White Mouse. FIELD OF MARS (3) has been bust to win for the Currie yard and finds the right race to break Maidens. Has a handy 2kg claim and will push forward on a quick backup. GINGERBREAD BOY (2) looked good at the trials but missed the kick on the Gold Coast poly on debut and couldn't be into it. Was well supported and gets in light today with the 4kg claim. Draws low and fitter he can make quick improvement. YONAKA (1) debuts and his latest trial suggested he'll win races. This isn't strong and he's a betting watch. TOY DANDY (7) may be next best. Is in a form yard and kept on the fresh side can show more third up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Field Of Mars.
