They look to roll along early with Queen Of Hawks and Sparkle Corner leading the charge. SCURGEOFTHEWEST (5) is looking for the hat-trick, winning by 1.5L last start in very impressive fashion. Back to 1200m today is a slight query, but he draws better and he still has some upside being a lightly raced commodity. Looks the one to beat on recent performances. CHAMPEZE (8) flew home to win here last start after getting well back in the run. She got the job done with ease, however and now draws an inside alley. Relished the step up in trip there and can feature in the finish again with no weight on her back. QUEEN OF HAWKS (2) led and won two back at Narrogin and went back-to-back at Bunbury in a CL3. Looks to be hitting her stride now and steps back out to 1200m. Nottle's claim comes in handy and she'll be in this race for a very long way. CHOIXWAY (1) is first-up here without a trial but has won 3/4 fresh. Can't be discounted. TYCOON DEMON (3) is ticking along nicely and is knocking on the door. SUGGESTED PLAY: Scurgeofthewest is the one to beat.
