Cracking tempo with Maryland Bridge and Brutal Love leading the way. CRESTA RUN (2) has found one better in all three recent runs and was an odds-on favourite when run down at Scone under two weeks ago. Down in weight after the claim and sure to take plenty of catching in this. TROIS (8) won on debut at Tamworth before backing it up with a solid second at Port Macquarie earlier this month. Both runs on heavy so only needs to handle the firmer ground to be a threat. HEFTY PRICE (6) has only won once in 20 starts but is right around the mark after giving a big sight at Tamworth in July. Off a freshen and is in the mix. BRUTAL LOVE (1) and FLEETLY (9) are each-way chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cresta Run to win.
