Prince Ragnar should lead at a keen tempo. OSCAR CHARLIE (4) resumes without a trial today but was very competitive in good races last campaign, finishing only 1.9L off the winner in midweek company at his last start. He should land in a good position from the barrier and if he can pick up where he left off, he'll be hard to hold out. CHEEKY CHARLOTTE (7) was ticking along nicely before winning last start over 1200m at this track. Back to 1000m today, but she boasts a good record at this track and trip. Drawn nicely and she can put her best foot forward. FINAL AUTHORITY (3) gets the blinkers on first time today following a couple of disappointing runs in recent times. They have been in stronger company however, and now lines up for the new stable. Right back on grade today and can bounce back. PRINCE RAGNAR (1) was very good first-up here a fortnight ago and can go on with the job. SOARING SOLO (9) won well last start ahead of Prince Ragnar and can play a leading role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Oscar Charlie can resume on a winning note.
