GOING: S(6)

Ladbrokes SRM in Multis C1 Hcp 1100m

Track: SOFT 5   Rain (Max: 13)   Rail: +11m Entire. (Pent: 4.54)

Fast tempo assured with Fillentina, Mel's Street Above and Artillery Fire going toe-to-toe. A good contest. ARTILLERY FIRE (3) just missed here backed off the map before the spell and resumed at Launceston with a comfortable Maiden win as expected. Keeps the handy 2kg claim and has been kept on the fresh side. The speedy galloper has plenty of scope for improvement and can take the next step. RAWABI (1) led and won here Maiden easily and then came back and was narrowly beaten in stronger than this. He's going to be hard to beat again. MEL'S STREET ABOVE (4) won a Maiden well fresh and then started at short odds in a CL2. Strips fitter and also has claims. FILLENTINA (7) resumes and owns a trial win. She goes fresh and should be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Artillery Fire.
