Fast early pace with Great Hien showing out and Hardy Rose crossing to apply some pressure. LUPINUS TESORO (8) is a last-start winner over 1400m at this track, making it two victories from three appearances this campaign. This is her optimum trip with four wins from eight starts and shapes as a key contender. GREAT HIEN (3) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 2 lengths over 1400m at this track. Will take advantage of the good draw. Must raise the bar but another win is not out of the question. NISHIKEN RETURN (12) didn't measure up last time over 1400m at this track, finishing back in 11th. Can mix form but a strong run is not out of the question. MONT SAINT LA FATA (2) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish third over 1500m at Nagoya. Kensuke Hayashi who has three wins when partnering stays on. Solid claims on best form.
