Kikkake and Crane Perdita will press forward in a keen battle for the lead. WIDE MARGARITA (7) is on a seven-day back-up after finishing in the money over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. Strong run last time and is worth following up. TSUWAMONO (2) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at Morioka Dirt over the same trip after he had travelled in a rearwards position. Nicely placed to make amends. MEISHO YUFUIN (1) found the line nicely to grab second last time out over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. Likely to feature. ON THE BASARA (5) failed to make an impression last time out, settling well back and finishing seventh over 1200m at Morioka Dirt. Shinobu Murakami has registered five minor placings when on board. One of the better hopes.
