Genuine tempo with Champagne Queen leading the way. ZAMALEK (6) made progress last time out, finishing third over this journey at Gunnedah after being prominent at the bend. No tougher this time and he should be hitting his straps now. ERNIEGY (1) is knocking on the door. Was less effective last time but her runs prior measure right up for this. Can bounce back sharply. DURNESS (8) returns from a spell of four-and-a-half months and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished fourth at Mornington over 1600m when first-up last time in work. Ran fourth in a trial at Port Macquarie over 1006m recently. Has ability and makes plenty of appeal. PINERO (9) was beaten less than a length into second at Narromine two starts ago then finished fourth last time at Gunnedah. Blinkers added this time. Chance on best figures and worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zamalek to win.
