Not a great deal of pressure likely in the small field, with Ryuno Kammuri a potential leader. RYUNO KAMMURI (4) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 13 lengths into fifth over 1000m at Morioka Dirt last time out. Well placed and will take some running down. COPANO EBISU (1) stepped out on his debut over 1000m at Morioka Dirt two-and-a-half weeks ago and finished sixth, beaten 19 lengths. Expected to improve and will pay to follow up. TUNA ANGEL (3) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 15 lengths when sixth over 1200m at Morioka Dirt two weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. BEST PLAGE (2) failed to threaten at her first outing last time out, finishing sixth over 1000m at Morioka Dirt. Should appreciate the extra ground this time. Worth another chance with race experience now in the locker.
