EIGER (5) finished second two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by half a length as favourite over 1500m here. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to score again. MARUTOKU LAUREL (4) has been thereabouts without winning, the most recent offering a second at this circuit over 920m when she was beaten half a length. Should park just off the speed and will play a major role. COMUNE (6) scored two back at this circuit but was below her best last time when ninth over 1700m at this venue after being prominent at the corner. Best figures measure up nicely and is sure to run well. OTEMBAMUSUME (7) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by 1.5 lengths last time out over 1400m at this course. Worth including in calculations.
