TIMBA (3) produced a bold effort to finish second on the flat at Arawa Park 18 days ago over 2200m. He has shown a lot of potential in this role, and in an even field, he should go close to taking this out. COUNTRYMAN (1) is a capable jumper when getting around safely, and his last couple of starts for second have been full of merit. He has been risky in the past, but is now more experienced, and can take this out. ZAC FLASH (2) was fourth on the flat in the same race as the top pick last start, and he was placed on this track in this role in June. He has had a jumping trial since his last run and is well worth including in all combinations. ENGLISH GAMBLER (6) is a free-going hurdler making his debut over the bigger fences. He won a recent trial, and is bound to give a great sight for a long way here. Don't risk him. GO BUTCH (8) has had a couple of runs on the flat since falling here near the end of July. He hails from the Kevin Myers stable, and has to be respected. SUGGESTED PLAY: Timba should be winning, and maybe English Gambler will enjoy the slower pace.
