Plenty of early pace from American Wolf and Adjanni vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. ADJANNI (8) resumes. She ran well on debut at Bendigo over 1600m, beaten a nose by Inevitable Award. She was disappointing at Sandown-Hillside before a spell but kicks off in the right race and draws well. Takes beating. PRAY DAY (4) ran quite well on debut at Seymour over 1200m, working home nicely. Up in trip will suit although the wide draw does him no favours. AMERICAN WOLF (12) debuted in a strong race at Flemington behind Sneaky Sunrise, who looks a key chance in a listed race this Saturday. He'll be much better for that and can improve quickly. GULFSTATE (13) wasn't bad on debut at Cranbourne before an even effort at Geelong. Can improve. RENOVATION SHOW (6) can run well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Adjanni to win.
