Strong early tempo assured as Blanc Monstre and Harpy Dragon lead the way over Cool Santa. HARPY DRAGON (5) finished fourth last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Will be hard to toss. COOL SANTA (8) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and held a forward position before fading to finish fifth, beaten 9 lengths over 1400m at this track. Will be prominent and hard to run down here. BLANC MONSTRE (1) resumes today after placing at his last run at Kasamatsu over 1600m. Should be camped handy in the run and likely be involved here on best form. SADAMU ORIGIN (6) showed little early speed and was always well back finishing eighth over 1400m here last time. Honest record at this distance including two wins and six placings from 20 runs. Don't underestimate.
