Not seeing a great deal of early speed. JOTOPELI (2) was third last start at Mount Gambier, where he closed into third place. He will be suited by the rise in distance to 1400m and he's proven the wet conditions aren't a deterrent. Can play a leading role third-up and ready to strike. BISHOP'S CHOICE (1) finished strongly to place fourth at Warrnambool last start after settling eleventh. Having drawn awkwardly again, he may settle too far back again. He's a talented runner nonetheless and should be right in the finish. SLAYRIDER (5) disappointed first-up when overracing and should be better for that effort. Expecting improvement now.
