A solid tempo on the cards with Brash Lass heading them off. Race has changed complexion after scratchings. HELOVAWIN (4) stays in on the back of a strong effort at Swan Hill last start in Heavy going, only beaten by a smart one there. Needs a touch of luck from the gate, but is proven in the conditions and can land the knockout blow. BRASH LASS (11) has drawn out today but has shown plenty of early speed in her first couple of outings. Now third-up into the campaign and back to 1000m which looks an ideal move. Can roll across and give a bold sight. BLACKHILL BOY (1) has performed well in some Flemington jumpouts in preparation for this and has been given plenty of time to develop. Can play a role. TALLINGAS GRAY (10) draws to get plenty of favours and the claim may come in handy. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Helovawin.
