Looks a tactical race on paper with no early speed evident. ECRU BEIGE (3) was never in contention last time over 800m at this track when she finished eighth. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. LIBERTINE (9) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months and is having her first outing under new trainer T Taguchi. Finished 18th at Hanshin over 1400m at the opening run last time in work. One of the genuine hopes in this suitable race. RED GATE (5) has missed the frame at her last couple of outings, the latest when a disappointing 12th over 1800m at Kyoto. Well-placed in this easier assignment and she is among the leading players. MOULIN GRISE (8) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn before tiring to finish fifth over 800m at this track last time out. Worth including here.
