Donna Emilia has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. MISS ITALIANA (9) met with solid support last start over 1400m at Moree when second, beaten 4.5 lengths. Rates highly and expected to atone. YACHTIE (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.7 lengths from the winner in third over 1850m at Mudgee. Will enjoy this class and is sure to be right there at the finish. DONNA EMILIA (7) is struggling to break through but has been around the mark lately, last start finishing fourth over 1600m at Dubbo. Among the leading chances. LEGRIS (2) finished third first-up at Moruya then couldn't repeat the dose last time when fifth at Wagga Riverside over 1200m when beaten 3 lengths. Blinkers added this time.
