THE CHUKYO NISAI STAKES 1400m Track: |

Solid tempo from Juju Doll, Friend Monaco and Michael Barows battling for the lead in a high-pressure contest. STAR ANISE (7) broke through for her maiden win over 1200m at Kokura last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and a bold showing is expected. STEFFI (10) impressed when successful on debut over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt ten weeks ago and has not been produced since. Has plenty of upside and can win again. AYRTON (3) finished a nose from the winner in second on debut last start over 1400m at this track. Nicely drawn so he is a strong chance. PURPLE GARNET (8) is back from a spell of 12 weeks. Won on debut at the only appearance last prep, scoring in a 1400m contest at Tokyo by half a length. One of the key contenders.
