Good fresh performer with a win and three minor placings from seven runs. Ready for a bold showing. AOI EAGLE (4) is back from a break of three months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when tenth over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Takayuki Yamashita. Comes here with definite claims. KITASAN DOSHIN (2) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for second last start over 1800m at this track, making it three minor placings in a row. Drawn for a good trail just off the pace. Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. JOHNSON TESORO (1) is back at the races for the first time since May 7. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1700m at this track. Has found the right race and is worth including.
