Goes very well when fresh with four wins from seven starts and proved too good first up last prep, can play a major role. VERTE MARIN (4) wound up strongly only to just miss last start over 1500m at this track. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. GET UP GATE (1) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish back in sixth over 1500m at this track. Must be included among the main hopes. COSMO MAROON (3) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1500m at this track. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
