A solid tempo on the cards with Best Regard taking charge. FAUVISME (12) battled on well to hold second last start over 1600m at Ohi, beaten half a length when fresh from a spell as favourite. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. I BLANCO (13) returns from a spell of six months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished eighth at Sapporo Dirt over 1700m when first-up last time in work. Will be tuned-up for this and is expected to run well. Grade 2 placegetter BULLBEAR IRIDE (6) turned in a modest performance when 11th last time out over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 12 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Will enjoy a drop in class so he can make amends. SHOTMAKER (8) hit the frame two starts ago at Urawa but ran below par last time when 12th and beaten 17 lengths over 2000m at this track. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
