Strong early tempo likely with several going forward, headed by Chuwa Heart and Smaragdos. SAINT EX (5) went forward when resuming last start and proved too strong, getting home by a neck over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running a bold race. CHUWA HEART (7) went fast early and went on to score by 1.3 lengths when resuming last time out over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Progressive entire building an imposing record. Can win again. MEISHO KOGASHIRA (1) returned from a break last start and led throughout to score by 0.8 lengths over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt. Sure to be thereabouts again. EXCESS RETURN (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 2000m at Hanshin Dirt. Will be doing his best work late.
