Strong pace as Monstrum and Mezquita match motors with Yamanin Chandelle close at hand. S K ANGEL (2) was sound last time when in the placings over 1600m at this track and is back in trip for this. Nicely drawn and expected to go close again. MEZQUITA (3) ran well to score by 2.5 lengths at today's course and trip when first-up from a break as the favourite last time out. Has good early pace and expected to give a sight. FUNKY GOLD (10) found plenty when winning by 3 lengths three runs back at this track before placing his last two starts. Proving a good combination with same rider in the money the last two rides. Expected to measure up. AKI ROCK (7) ran well for a 1.5 lengths victory at this circuit and trip as the favourite last time out.
